&lt;p&gt;Installing a &lt;strong&gt;battery energy storage system (BESS)&lt;/strong&gt; together with a &lt;strong&gt;photovoltaic system (PV)&lt;/strong&gt; and a &lt;strong&gt;water heater&lt;/strong&gt; introduces flexibility that enables participation in &lt;strong&gt;demand response programs&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;To ensure the 📈 highest efficiency, the &lt;strong&gt;Optimal Heater, BESS and PV Operation Scheduler&lt;/strong&gt; provides the user with an optimal schedule for water heating, battery charging/discharging, and PV utilization over a 24-hour period.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The &lt;strong&gt;Optimal Heater, BESS and PV Operation Scheduler&lt;/strong&gt; uses &lt;strong&gt;annual production and consumption profiles&lt;/strong&gt;, the &lt;strong&gt;size of the water heating system&lt;/strong&gt;, the &lt;strong&gt;battery storage capacity&lt;/strong&gt;, and the &lt;strong&gt;PV system size&lt;/strong&gt; to calculate the optimal operation strategy.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;It then provides the user with an &lt;strong&gt;optimal 24-hour schedule&lt;/strong&gt; for water heating, battery charging/discharging, and PV utilization, ensuring efficient energy use while enabling demand response participation.&lt;/p&gt;
