Installing a battery energy storage system (BESS) together with a photovoltaic system (PV) and a water heater introduces flexibility that enables participation in demand response programs.
To ensure the 📈 highest efficiency, the Optimal Heater, BESS and PV Operation Scheduler provides the user with an optimal schedule for water heating, battery charging/discharging, and PV utilization over a 24-hour period.
The Optimal Heater, BESS and PV Operation Scheduler uses annual production and consumption profiles, the size of the water heating system, the battery storage capacity, and the PV system size to calculate the optimal operation strategy.
It then provides the user with an optimal 24-hour schedule for water heating, battery charging/discharging, and PV utilization, ensuring efficient energy use while enabling demand response participation.
